I completed a major in Physics with a minor in Biology. During the first two years of my undergraduate program, I received rigorous training in fundamental sciences, including core courses in Chemistry and Mathematics. My major thesis focused on the quantum critical study of low-dimensional magnetic systems under the supervision of Dr. Deepshikha Jaiswal Nagar. In this work, I synthesized single-crystal antiferromagnetic spin-chain compounds and investigated their quantum critical behavior at ultra-low temperatures down to 0.2 K. The study employed high-resolution thermal expansion and specific heat measurements to probe critical phenomena near quantum phase transitions.
